Despite Mike Brown’s best efforts… and his teammates all fouling out… Lebron James was just spectacular - scoring the last 25 points of the game for the Cavaliers.
Amazing, amazing finish by Lebron. That was great basketball and he won the game despite having his entire team foul out. I think that years from now when Lebron’s career is remembered, this will be the game people look back to as having set it in motion.
The Cavaliers vs. Detroit Pistons just went to a second overtime because Mike Brown is a horrific coach. He abused his timeouts (for no reason) and Chauncey was put on the line with 3 seconds. A great free throw shooter - he hit both. And then the Cavs were forced to inbound from the back court rather than advance the ball.
On their day of rest, the Yankees lost two ‘key’ players to injuries - both expected to be 4-6 weeks. Jason Giambi will hit the 15-day DL with partial tear of the left plantar fascia. Philip Hughes will miss additional time due to a severe ankle sprain.
After ARod had his picture splashed all over the NY Post with a stripper in arm, ARod’s smoking hot wife must be wondering what they’ve got that she doesn’t.
Well, now we know. In a word: MEAT.
According to a petite dancer at NY’s Hustler club, A-Rod “likes the she-male, muscular type. They brought me up to the champagne room one time. I spun around once and that was it. I’m not his type.” With the steroid culture of baseball, this comes as no surprise. It’s a good thing ARod is straight, or Barry Bonds’ wife better watch out.
A-Rod also regularly hangs out at other strip clubs in New York, such as HeadQuarters and Rick’s Cabaret.
“A-Rod is known as the king of the strip clubs,” a source said. “He gives the girls his number to meet somewhere else later on.”
He also goes to a private social club in Chelsea that fronts as a poker club but also hosts wild, after-hours sex romps, a source said.
Some claimed Rodriguez even shoots X-rated text messages to hisfavorite strippers across the country.
Rodriguez has also been seen around town taking his favorite dancers shopping at pricey fifth avenue stores like Versace. Here’s a fashion hint: try starting at a big & tall mens’ store and have her outfits feminized by a good seamstress. That way you’ll always have enough fabric to go around the shoulders.

We are very excited about Guitar Hero 3 (which is also coming to the Wii!) - it’s a favorite of SportsWrap’s. Here is the first video of game play - which is consistent with Guitar Hero 1 and 2. The graphics look slightly improved, the song list rocks, the score meters are altered… oh yeah, there is online play!!!
Many things are in motion that makes this very plausible.
1) The Dolphins and KC Chiefs are in an utter stalemate over Trent Green and draft picks.
2) Evidence is supposedly mounting in the Michael Vick case that connects him to dog fighting
3) Mounting evidence suggests that Vick could face a stiff suspension (rumors of 6+ games are already out there)
4) The Falcons have no solid back-up due to the Matt Schaub trade…
So will Trent Green be the new Falcons QB? Seems to make sense from all angles and the Falcons cannot bet on Vick. That is clear.

Evidence links Vick to dogfighting

Informants have come forward saying Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was involved in dogfighting, a prosecutor investigating the case said. Brown and Surry County Commonwealth’s Attorney Gerald G. Poindexter told WAVY-TV of Portsmouth, Va., there is evidence linking Vick to dogfighting, which is a felony in Virginia. “We have informants,” Poindexter told the station in an interview Wednesday. “We have people who are volunteering to make those allegations.”
Yesterday we discussed ARod’s classy behavior in the 9th inning of the Yankees vs. Blue Jays game - in which he yelled at the the infielder during a routine popfly and caused a dropped ball and a fight. What’s classier - that or slapping the ball out of Arroyo’s hand?!

This fight will most likely determine the number 1 contender to face the winner of Anderson Silva vs. Nate Marquardt (fight takes place July 7th at UFC 73 live from the Arco Arena in Sacramento California).
If you are not familiar with Rich “Ace” Franklin let us inform you that he is a well rounded fighter with amazing standup. He has knocked out the likes of Nate Quarry and Jason MacDonald. We felt bad for Jason MacDonald after round 2 of Rich pounding his face in with endless punches his corner threw in the towel.

So how does Yushin Okami stand a chance? Simple his strength is at 185 is so incredible that in his last two fights (one against Kalib Starnes and the other Mike Quick Swick) both complained of Yushin’s amazing strength. He comes at his opponents, gets them on the ground and pounds the living crap out of them. He has even beaten the man who took Franklin’s title away at UFC 67 Anderson Silva. He specializes in Wajyutsu which is a form of jujitsu and judo. On paper I think the fight is dead even Rich is 23 and 2 and Yushin Okami is 21 and 3, but the odds makers will favor franklin probably almost 2 to 1. Franklin is a banger and Yushin has been known to not have the best chin. If Yushin plans to win this fight he will have to take it to the ground.
