Did Vince McMahon Die Tonight? McMahon’s Limo Exploded
Lots of rumors swirling about Vince McMahon’s death tonight - but I honestly cannot tell if it is accurate or not… after all, this is the WWE (with all do respect). I hope it’s not true - McMahon is a marketing genius and has had a huge impact on society. I hope this is a stunt - although that would be sick.

Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night turned deadly when the WWE Chairman’s limo exploded with him inside it at the conclusion of Raw. Mr. McMahon has been presumed dead at the scene in Wilkes-Barre, Pa
ocal authorities stated it was still too early to declare anything as fact, including exactly what caused the explosion, but described the blast as an apparent “car bombing.” They also revealed that as of 11:30 p.m. EST, no body had been recovered from the incinerated wreckage.
Firefighters were quick to assess the scene, taping off sections of the parking lot to protect the evident crime scene and safeguard scores of onlookers – mostly our fans – from potential injury. Despite the intense heat and ubiquitous clouds of black smoke, countless people spilled out of the arena to get a closer look at the chaos they had just seen happen live on the TitanTron. Moments earlier, the sold-out crowd came to a still hush as they speechlessly watched from their seats.
“By the time we arrived on the scene, the entire automobile was on fire,” explained a Wilkes-Barre firefighter on the scene. “It was like an inferno, and our guys were doing whatever they could to contain it as quickly as possible. In my 27 years with the fire department, I’ve never seen anything like that.”

OK! So for all of you WWE Fans I’m sure you saw the car bombing that caused Mr. Vince McMahon’s death. Now, we all know that WWE is scripted but this type of incident should not be used as a story line to earn more viewers. According from their article in WWE.com, firefighters showed up and actually had to do a investigation on the whole accident. Now, I’m a BIG WWE fan but if this is a part of Vince McMahon’s story line just to earn profits, then I sure hope to God the government does something about it. Possibly shut down WWE for making the accident an avenue to spice-up their business. Now, if its a real thing then my prayers goes out to the McMahon family. However, I seriously hope its not fake because this is a serious matter. Someone could have been hurt for making this up.

i am pretty sure this was fake, because they would also proclaim the driver of the limo dead, unless mcmahon went into the limo alone…but i doubt it. If it was real the driver would have died as well.

I absolutely agree! If this was apart of his storyline just to earn more money then the government needs to get rid of WWE. Believe me, I love WWE but with what is going on currently in our society/world (war in Iraq, 9/11, car bombings in Israel, VA Tech massacre and more) this type of bullshit is not acceptable. The government needs to make this an example to producers out there that there is a fine line on what needs to be shown on national TV. For good sakes, kids as young as 11 years old watch WWE and showing car bombings is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. I hope our government does something about this if Vince McMahon somehow rises from the dead. If its apart of his storyline then they need to shut down WWE. However, if I’m wrong then my prayers goes out to the McMahon family.

Oh please! I can’t believe anyone would actually think this isn’t just a storyline. The whole scene is a goof on the previous night’s Sopranos Finale where no one was actually whacked. It’s entertainment; it’s a device to kill off the Mr. McMahon character in WWE television programming. And personally, I think this is high quality entertainment and love the storyline. Anyone who thinks this is inappropriate can chew on the 1st Amendment and understand that what was broadcast did not violate FCC standards. The WWE is entertainment, and if this is the story it wishes to tell to entertain its fans, it has every right to do so.

It has to be a storyline, I mean why would they kill the owner of the company. That’s just stupid. And why should the government get involved? WWE has been pulling stunts for ratings for years, so why should they stop now. If it doesn’t hurt anyone and the fans continue to watch then there is no problem. And obviously the fire department had to come out, even if it was staged, they can’t just let the car burn without it being controlled.

Here is the truth about the incident:
WWE obtained a permit a month ago to perform an “explosion”. A stunt crew came in on Sunday night to film the explosion. They showed McMahon leaving the arena LIVE then quickly cut to Sunday’s taping when he shut the limo door. It was all 100% staged. After the show, they lit the limo on fire again so people leaving the arena could see it. The firefighters were part of the act.
And no, WWE will not be punished for this. Vince McMahon is a genius. We all fell victim for his tricks again. Everyone says “WWE sucks” now but look, here we are talking about it. This is why the man is worth a billion dollars. And, by the way, if the death of Eddie Guerrero was picked up by national newspapers, wouldn’t Vince’s death be?
And finally, if Vince would have died, WWE productions would shut down immediately and remain closed off for weeks or months. So, yes, this is completely fake, staged, planned. Vince will be back.

THIS WAS REAL. I was there, and I saw everything. I watched as Vince got into the limo, and he shut the door. The driver got out, and went back into the building for some reason. I saw a small flame start underneath the limo, and within a few seconds, it exploded. Pieces of the limo and human remains went everywhere. What I believe to be Vince’s left foot, still in his shoe landed in front of me. I grabbed it and took it home. I put it in a zip lock bag in the freezer. When all the excitement dies down, I will put it up for sale on Ebay. I am sure it will be worth a few bucks to some fan.

Ok, does emptyhandkiller knows what he’s talking about…? Anyways I agree with Matt about the incident. It was fake. And Matt it was not filmed Sunday night, It was filmed Saturday night. Don’t believe what WWE says, because it really is a storyline. Therefore, the character died but not the real human. It’s a storyline for him called “Kayfade”. If you don’t know what that means, look it up on wikipedia. Another thing is, if you watch the video again the time his foot was about to enter and shut, there’s a puddle. And then when the car exploded, the puddle was completely gone. Another thing is that those two guys that were standing outside (The time when Mr. McMahon stepped out of the building and looked back at two guys sitting on a huge thing that looked like a dumpster.) Don’t you think the two guys would run or leave a scream. With that explosion it was too quiet. No yelling or sudden noise, but the sounds of flames. And the camera man would have done something about it, instead of keep filming it. Also, it’s true that if he were really dead, then it would’ve been all over the news and be the same predicament just like what happened to Eddie Guerrero in 2005. And also alot of people was booing, it look oblivious to say that they also knew it was a fake. And Vince with this story. As far as I’m concerned about some so call lawsuit or effects of the government. I don’t know. But it’s a show and shouldn’t be too effective to people for something that is fake. And the firemen were apart of the act where it just lit on fire so it be distinguish to make it look like it’s the real deal. And they got the results on how the limo looks now. Ain’t no way in hell that it could look something like that, I know it was more damage. It exploded too many times, so that’s dumb. And now they trying to make it even more where WWE.com says they is going to trace any DNA of the body in the limo. And also WWE.com says that he is PRESUMED dead. Therefore, they assume that he’s dead when he really is dead. But he’s not, only the character of the storyline of the show is gone. Mr. McMahon wants nothing to do with much of this and that anymore. So you guys seriously need to chill with this crying over a billionare and thinking that he really is dead. And if I recall that some people actually called 911. They didn’t answer back for it. That let’s you know that they don’t want anybody worrying about it. Just as the same way when it was just a Firetruck. But there’s no Police Cars or Ambulance, and even of that. So it’s harshful for something like this to effect you people here thinking that the set it real. Only time that it was real was all the superstars who REALLY died. And kind of think of it. The guy who was investigating that calls himself the federal. He’s not. And not no real FBI. So please get y’all facts straight, to make this look so real. I believe its probably okay to say this was a stunt, i believe if it weren’t there would be an ambulance, and police there as well as the fire department, the camera man, as well as i imagine coach and the emts would be running out there as well, the area probably would of been quarintined and black walled however thats based on my own experiance, I was at boyscout national jamboree, about 2 summers ago i believe, which was locatedo n a military base, and our camp was right across from another, these people were puting up a tent with a tall metal pole, and touched a powerline, on accident above the area, at the tent was covering the sight of above so they did not see it. I believe 3 people died i never did see the news paper article myself, as i was right there when it happend and everyoen was running it was chaos. Ha but the point of this story is, they black walled it and did a investigation. I had thought perhaps vince had died the night i saw it, and that they were witholding information due to investigation, and criminal investigation. I am pissed at the hoax WWE is playing. This is annoying. The so called Mr Mcmahon the chairman of WWE staged his death. I love wwwe. I watch it a lot but for crying out loud this is too far and to think that th appropraite agencies are not doing anything to arrest WWE management staff for this hoax baffles me. It just shows that the rich can do anything they want and get away with it. Everything was staged manged just as hey stage manage wrestling. It is a shame that the egoistical bigger than life Vince Mcmachon did not think this through before he carried out this hoax. Of course it was fake, first off if it were real people would have been running left and right to the scene to see what happened and to see if they could help, secondly the camera never moved away from the explosion again if it were real the camera would have went off very quickly just like when someone gets seriously hurt at any other sporting event you know the Please Stand By message. I agree that it could have been b/c Vince had some type of illness or something to that effect and it could be a reason for him to go off the show for awhile. I’m watching raw as I type this and they are showing the FBI agent questioning people, cmon get real!

Man, I’ve been watching the WW”F” for years and it’s hard to give ANY respect to anyone that really believes Vince died. In all honesty, a chicken with a half of brain could figure this one out without the facts. In all honesty, it’s sad there are so many supposedly “true” wrestling fans leaving these responses, and they should no better for many reasons, but one imparticular.
When Eddie Guerrero REALLY died, the tributes that followed were nothing but pure somber. Virtually every wrestler cried on the show and in any interview that followed. You didn’t have to be a genius to realize that this guy was really gone.
With Vince, as powerful as he is — had something like this really happened it would be melancholy for MONTHS not days and there hasn’t been anything other then laughter and maybe a sad voice by J.R. here and there — What’s crazy is, if Vince really wanted a storyline, he could of done a HELLUVA lot better by having a fake body recovered and actually having a few people cry on the air.
Vince is twisted, so he should of just gone all out on this one. Either way,
when all else fails, some of you characters should actually try reading a real news site like umm…cnbc, msnbc, nbc, cbs, fox, cnn, and even espn. Nowhere was this story — no common sense…so sad.

No one can be arrested, because they had the permits to use pyrotechnics. The fact they had a pyrotechnics permit a week in advance goes to show this was not a real death scene. Another thing that gives the video away is that the way the camera is set up to show the alleged arrival of the firefighters. If it were a real bombing scene, there would be police there, and the cameraman would not be allowed to film right over the shoulders of the firefighters.
The whole thing’s a setup.

How will he top this i have no clue . mr.mcmahon had some bad times and some times where i didnt like him, but this was real.he put on the mcmahon celebration night to get everyone to remember his life because he was going to commit suicide.after all the pain that he’s gone through i think he just had enough and wanted to die in a way to make everyone notice and actually think about how presious life is. losing the ecw title did it in for him.my favorite two wrestlers in the wwe are shawn micheals and triple h, as DX, they put him through hell in the late ‘06, but it was only payback for mr.mcmahon giving them so much hell.mr.mcmahon is dead but if im wrong, they shouldent punish the whole wwe buisnuess, put thousands of people out of work, and take away the thing that millions of people love, why ruin millions of lives, when theres only 1 at risk. my full respects go out to the mcmahon family and i hope to god, that this tragedy, smooths out in the end.

Ive read every post on this website, Ive always wanted to become a part of WWE entertainment, money issues disallow me to pursue that dream. But knowing a few of the wrestlers, and having met a number of them in person, I know the hardships they go through. Heck the Big Show, aka Paul Wight, used to work for one of my girlfriends dads friends, in his hay field.
The death of Vince McMahon, I personally dont know what to say about it.
Mr. McMahons CHARACTER was sick and twisted. He was a great man that cared about all of his employees.
Anybody that talks about Vince’s ‘presumed’ death, speaking as if they know for certain it was fake.. But still send their prayers, ‘Just In Case’.. these people really have no care for the matter anyways. You either believe or you dont believe.
I for one have to believe that Vince McMahon has died. Looking at the frame by frame pictures, watching two different angles of video footage.. Vince did not sneak out the other side of the Limo. As soon as the door shut, the explosion happened. There was no time for any protection or anything.
There was two seperate explosions, one from the engine compartment, one under the rear passenger seat, not two foot from the door. It would have taken longer than a few seconds no matter what, to get any remote detonation device hooked up in two seperate locations of the car. They blew up at the same time, there was no delay at all, both explosions were simultaneous, the explosion didnt have any time to follow the fuel line to the engine compartment, NEITHER would the engine hold enough gas to completely blow the hood off of the car, OR match the fire cloud that the full tank of gas in the rear of the car had. Saying there were explosives under the hood, asking for a lot more time for such an explosion to be coordinated. ATLEAST 5 uninterrupted minutes, and thats rushing.
