NFL Draft: Cowboys Take RB Felix Jones, CB Mike Jenkins; Steelers Nab Rashard Mendenhall

The draft wonks told us that the Cowboys needed to take a running back and either a receiver or a cornerback with their two first round picks. Apparently the ‘Boys listen to the same wonks, cause they ended up taking Arkansas RB Felix Jones and South Florida CB Mike Jenkins.
The Steelers, meanwhile, saw Illinois RB Rashard Mendenhall fall into their laps. Detroit was thought to be looking at Mendenhall (God knows they could use a running back), but they ended up trading down from 15, and taking OT Gosder Cherilus who was projected as a very late 1st round pick at best (a little more ammo for the Millen-haters).
