Joakim Noah Arrested for Pot. Now We Know Where His Free-Spiritedness Comes From.
It will come as no shock to anyone that Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah smokes marijuana.
That being said, I’m sure the Bulls are not happy about Noah’s arrest early Sunday morning in Gainsville, Florida on charges of possessing marijuana and having an open alcohol container.
Police say Noah was stopped around 1:50 am for being on the sidewalk with a cup containing an obvious alcoholic beverage, a violation of a city ordinance. Upon further inspection of Noah’s person, police found a marijuana cigarette in his pocket.
Noah has since been released. He faces up to six months in jail if convicted on the charges.
I knew Noah was a wacky type of guy but I didn’t know he was flat out stupid. Seriously Joakim…you’re a wealthy professional athlete. Why are you hanging out in your old college town on the sidewalk in the middle of the night with a cup of booze and some pot? Time to grow up, dude.
